That said, I tend to have Rainmeter running on the secondary monitor because it looks much more "techie" and while no-one else knows what all the bars and charts mean it makes it look like I'm monitoring important techie stuff.

I was thinking about this kind of app the other day, as the HDD leds have never worked on my case here, so I have been flying blind as to activity on my main machine at times and wondered if indeed such an app existed.
