Port LISTENING

Hi guys,

 

I've hit a brick wall.. can't get around this and haven't found much on the web.

TCP port 8080 (unknown service): [b]FILTERED[/b]

 

Need to change the FILTERED to LISTENING.

 

I have followed How to configure TCP/IP Filtering in Windows Server 2003 without any success, it's still displaying FILTERED.

 

This is a Windows 2003 with RM CC4 installed.

 

Any ideas? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Open the port in the firewall ?

Firewall in 2003 is disabled. Using LGfL's firewall, but the port 8080 is not being blocked by the Firewall.

What service do you have sat on 8080? Is that definitely configured correctly? I.e. from the host can you do 127.0.0.1:8080

What service are you attempting to run? Have you run a port check on the server to see that it is def listening? Normally this could mean IIS or similar either isn't running, or not configured for that port?
