J_Worth Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Hello everyone, Our SIMS Manager keeps informing us that when she goes to: "Focus" -> "Assessment" -> "Marksheet Entry" it takes ages for it to return the list of the results. Upon further investigation it would appear that just over 5,000 records are being returned. When we have looked through the list, there are assessments dating back to day dot! Is there anyway or archiving these old assessments so that they are not returned in the list? Many thanks in advance.
gazskeltz Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Hi there, Try going to the template - Focus/Assessment/Templates. Find the templates that the marksheets are created from, open them and delete the marksheets. Then rename the template with, perhaps, a 'z' at the beginning of the name. That way you can easily find the templates you have 'retired'. Hope that helps Regards Gary
LosOjos Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Alternatively, if there are templates you know you don't need any more, you can delete them en massé via "Tools > Performance > Assessment > System Utilities > Templates" and following the wizard. This won't delete the actual results, aspects or gradesets, just the template and any associated marksheets which should make the Marksheet Entry page load quicker. That said, I think Marksheet Entry is possibly the least efficient way for a data manager to access marksheets, much better to go via template as @gazskeltz said.
