My wife (we're separated but neither of want a divorce, hence she's not 'my ex' nor am I hers...confused? You will be) did a two week meander up the California coast from LA to SF last year. Her and her friend from work rented a Mustang convertible. Not sure of the cost but it was 'reasonable'. I still call it their 'Thelma and Louise' trip.

 

When I saw the photos, it made up my mind of how, where and which car. Have yet to decide when, though. Could be next year or the year after.

 

Could be next month, the way things are going here.

LOL when I got married we drove from SF via Lake Tahoe, down to LV, Grand Canyon then LA.

I started doing it with my dad years ago and I've not got from Amroth (near tenby) right around to Solva, Near St Davids
