Failed to locate Framework DLL - W7 Domain

I have just installed a piece of software in an ICT suite called Silhouette Studio. Works fine when I am logged in as admin but, when logged in as a user, it pops up with:

'Failed to locate Framework DLL'. I have changed the permissions on the Silhouette Studio folders for users but, no joy.

Environment:

Windows 7, Server 2008, Group Policy restrictions for pupils.

We've got this same piece of software too, and like you I am seeing the same error message.

 

Did you ever resolve this, and if so, what did you do to resolve it, assuming you did?

Does it tell you exactly what DLL it is looking for? Fish it out from Windows\System32 if it's there and copy it into the install folder (same location as the Silhouette Studio exe).

Sorry, forgot to update this post - it turns out to be an issue with the installer from the CD - I downloaded the latest patch from their website, installed & rebooted. It worked fine this time.
