LeMarchand Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 One of my schools has just gone over to the cloud version and everything seems OK apart from one fairly big problem: it will only allow books to be issued/returned if logged on as one of the 2 pre-configured accounts (Administrator and Librarian). Apparently all you need to do is log on as one of those and click circulate to authorise the machine, but it doesn't seem to be working. Not at that site today so don't want to ring them - has anyone else had (and solved) this?
bennz Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 when you log in and authorize circulate it saves a cookie to the PC, its possible you have a GPO that clears the IE cookies? 2

Cheers, I'll take a look on Monday. I wouldn't have thought so, but I have found some odd IE policies in my time there! 1

LeMarchand Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 If anyone else has this problem, there's an extra step after logging in (which has to be done from the main administrator account rather than the "Librarian" one): Click settings and look at the bottom to find a check box to authorise computer (which stores a cookie).
