X-13 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 they will even pay for my food/drink yay me. Drinks are on you, then. 1
scotyboy56 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Well if I'd of known that I'd of come via train. Damn it. I still have to pay for my hotel and stuff, but that's fine with me as I'm having a day out in London on the Saturday as it seems pointless to me to go all the way down there for free and not do something Also enjoy waking up early on Friday to get the bus, I remember when I went on it my first year, freezing cold and dark when I got there! So glad to be getting a lie in and just a casual tube ride with a nice stop off somewhere for a breakfast 1
teejay Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Will be there on Friday, was hoping to do 2 days but that got vetoed, I suppose actually going for the first time in over 10 years is a positive though ;-)

elsiegee40 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Ofsted called :/, not coming now. Sympathies. That's a very cruel blow
witch Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Very cruel - particularly as you will probably have much or anything to do with Ofsted
HarryMonkey Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Ofsted called :/, not coming now. Ofsted called ... still going though
nyiss Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Ofsted called :/, not coming now. Gutted, thats such unlucky timing! I left trains pretty late for booking, when I first looked they were £12 one way but when they were actually booked they were closer to £130 for the same time, double that and its kinda pricey. Comes under expenses but I don't like to take the mick so I'm heading down tonight after work, worked out a lot cheaper to stay an extra night than pay those prices. Probably be climbing the walls of my room by Saturday though.
AJWhite1970 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Just been told this morning that I'm not having my operation to wire my broken foot back together until next week so BETT here I (slowly) come Changed plans slightly, now coming up Thursday evening on my £10 megatrain ticket, going home Sunday night so two days at BETT instead of three and I won't get the use out of the swimming pool in my hotel this year
Gonk Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I'm hoping for a pass from the Head to attend on Friday!
