Net-Ctrl Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 OOOOH. nice . Ill be making my way there. Will have you any cider or will it be just beer/lager? Just lager i'm afraid. Thinking back I dont think the company providing the stands with drinks even offered cider. Sorry. Hopefully after a long day of walking and talking a cold beer will go down well regardless 1

RichCowell Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Friday afternoon catch up with folk from Naace? I can't when I last heard from them, but will look... Definitely possibility... I'll get onto it over the weekend, been hampered by man flu this week
timbo343 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I may be having a really thick moment but i guess the BETT badge needs to be cut down the middle so one is for entrance and the other is to hang round my neck?
witch Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I may be having a really thick moment but i guess the BETT badge needs to be cut down the middle so one is for entrance and the other is to hang round my neck? Nope They scan the one around your neck on the way in

Nah, the holder is transparent on both sides. You fold it in half so it's always visible. They scan the barcode every time you enter.
witch Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 If you have two different registrations- you can put one on each side - then you can choose who you are!
X-13 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 If you have two different registrations- you can put one on each side - then you can choose who you are! Or split it in 2 and have one side unscanable..
witch Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Yes, but as I work in two different schools with different age ranges it is handy to have separate sides so that the info I choose to give out is correct

timbo343 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Oh yeah.. of course (ill left my head at the door this morning) - i guess that's so the exhibitors can scan you without asking to turn it round.
Dos_Box Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Using BETT badges to convey accurate information?! What madness is this?! I am quite looking forwards to seeing this years effort from you @X-13
X-13 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I am quite looking forwards to seeing this years effort from you @X-13 I've posted it up a couple of times. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/behind-red-door/27257-what-cool-thing-s-did-u-do-today-228.html#post1263197
witch Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Using BETT badges to convey accurate information?! What madness is this?! Not unless I really am "Ms Wi Tch" or "Red Witch" It is really for the email addresses associated with the badges. Sometimes I really do want the information - who knew? !
Joanne Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Anyone put this up yet? I've printed mine on A3 and I'm marking out all the places I want to visit! http://www.bettshow.com//files/pocket_guide._floorplan__az.pdf
timbo343 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) I think @elsiegee40 put it up somewhere... Its under tips for the visit. Its doesnt go to the actual pdf, just the BETT site. Edited January 19, 2015 by timbo343
