maniac Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Anyone know of good suppliers of laptop screens? We've several laptops with broken screens where staff have dropped them, or put stuff on top of them. There's nothing wrong with the laptops themselves apart from the screens, so we would like to fix them if we can. Many Thanks, Mike.
tallan Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I would say the best places is the vendors themselves but the price they have been known to charge for laptop screens you better of buying new laptops well my laptop is a Acer travelmate so it is covered by a five year warranty so I get the screen replaced
markwatkins Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 We have had the same thing the original suppliers quote was in the £300's we found a company called main computers who replaced them for £200 + VAT inc collection / delivery. They have done 4 for us and have been very fast

alan-d Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Try AA Computer Repair Company webby is http://www.uklaptoprepairs.co.uk/ and ask for Jim Watson. We have sent kit off to them and it's come back repaired before our budget office had time to send the order Very helpful too.
