LosOjos Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Look carefully at the top right hand corner and you'll see. Nope. I see that there's something in there but definitely no movement. The camera's backlight self adjusts a couple of times, sometimes allowing you to see more in the gap and sometimes less, is that what you mean? Up to you to believe/disbelieve it anyway, but an actual person hiding in a hole in my house is much creepier to me than a potential ghost...
X-13 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I misread the title of this and, for a second, though someone made a "***HELP*** Goats" parody thread...
jinnantonnixx Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) The paranormal has been investigated since... well... forever and nothing has ever been demonstrated to anything approaching a scientific phenomena. My theory - there's a rat in the house. A bolting rat scurrying over a fish slice could easily kick it out of the way. A rat jumping or climbing on the door handle can open the handle. Rats like bubblegum, but I don't know if they are prone to blowing bubbles. But even so, it's a more likely explanation than anything paranormal which requires almost insurmountable explanation. Oh strange I can see it quite blatantly, you can even make the outline of her face and see her arm move... Yep I'm naturally a skeptic anyway. Just all seems a bit to perfect and the fact he came downstairs and didn't even notice she was hiding between the TV and the sofa, I mean c'mon. He also came downstairs without turning a single light on, who does that walks around their house in the dark Pile of rubbish to me. I misread the title of this and, for a second, though someone made a "***HELP*** Goats" parody thread... This needs to be done XD

It's very clear that there is someone in the cupboard as he's setting up the camera, you can clearly see her move her arm, and the sun is still up given the brightness of the light on the left hand side of the frame, and that light doesn't move during the 2 hour period. Regardless of what is on the footage this is an Americanised version of something that actually happened in Japan in 2008, the guy in the video is an actor, in the description he publicises himself and his website heavily. Its too much of a coincidence that an actor (who is largely unsuccessful) was involved in something like this which has gone viral, it's clearly just a publicity stunt to try and get himself known.

I thought it was meant to be satire
E_G_R2 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 who does that walks around their house in the dark Me so that if I ever need to move around when there is no light such as a power outage I can do so through memory. Also saves the odd 0.001p

Ok to be fair, in my memory I had read about this on a news site, but couldn't find that, so there's a chance the Japan incident is the one I was remembering (found at least one news story on that: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/2054057/Homeless-woman-comes-out-of-closet.html Still don't see what you two do but I'll accept it's possibly a fake video; not like I was there! Either way, an actual living human being living in your house without your knowledge - much creepier than a ghost, surely?!
