Free Office 365 ProPlus for teachers

Does anyone know how to add the free Office 365 ProPlus for teachers to the Office 365 setup by Lancs? The staff here want to use the apps on their ipads and I can not see how to active/add the licence to the school's Office 365 domain it just has the standard office 365 online listed in the licences section.

You have to request it via your microsoft license reseller, they will add it to the Volume License service center and then you use the online activation wizard to add it to the tennant.

We buy our Microsoft licences thought the LEA Select Agreement as it worked out cheaper last time. So don't have a Volume License Service centre Logon! Can I just get the free licences via a Microsoft reseller with out buying any other licences?

Not as far as I'm aware, you could try contacting a resseller/ maybe as the LEA?

That's what I thought, but I will phone a reseller to make sure!! After that I will phone the help desk! I would think this is something a lot of schools would want!

As far as I'm aware, the free office for staff/students still requires you to licence your full staff under an ovs/ees agreement.

 

You mention buying select licences through LCC so you may not qualify for it.

Just a update LLC are in talks with Microsoft to add this to the office 365 they run. They hope in the next month it will be complete lot of school have requested it
