SimpleSi Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Arrive back at a school after holidays and just about to try and sort out a few issues and the mains decides it wants a game of Yo-Yo
hardtailstar Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 No Sims working for us! Something has gone wrong with the server offsite!
Oaktech Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I'm gripping onto a piece of wood for grim death right now... The only thing that has gone wrong so far is the 2012 staff RDS server stopped accepting RDS sessions overnight. I've rebooted and all is well.
midweek Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Considering I switched to a new service supplier for our internet & leased lines, have a new cloud based Fortigate UTM and have reconfigured the VLANs across two of our sites things are eerily quiet. Horrible feeling of the calm before the storm........
Boredguy Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Nice and quiet here, other than SIMS Learning Gateway isn't wanting to function correctly, but that's likely due to me updating to SQL 2014 just before Christmas and not telling Capita until this morning. 1 Printer decided to go bang, but I had a spare... now I can return to putting my feet up.
Tall_Paul Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Entire network down due to a broadcast storm. Phonecall received at 0650 meaning I had to run into work (fortunately I live close by) straight from bed. I've had better starts to a term.
pcstru Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 We have a failure of the aircon in one of our server rooms which took down a number of systems. We are now running without our usual resilience in place so I think I'll have that piece of wood please!
