machin05 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Not if you only have single output graphics cards you can't. Well yeah, but if the entire IT suite is being refreshed, it's pretty easy to ensure the new kit has two outputs (which most new kit does).

Really annoying because it's by far the best way to work. Best resolution for each output, sensitive data and SIMS work can be carried out on the monitor whilst the classroom work is displayed on the projector etc.
Davit2005 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 We had dual monitors in our last school in the IT room. Although this may not always be feasible due graphics/workstation hardware or Practical, but was well liked by students/teachers alike.
