korifugi Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 (edited) I think the term "M8" is confusing someone... For clarity - "M8" is not the chavspeak version of "Mate", but instead the designation of that particular model. The standard HTC One is known as the "M7", whereas the bigger, shiny one is the "M8" Although, I do own one of those particular devices and they are rather spiffy, isn't it? martinpafc Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Another vote for Sony Xperia Z3. Brilliant straight out of the box - no need to root. I personally stay clear of iPhone's, features are outdated and very limited to customise when compared to Android.
abillybob Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 I absolutely love my Galaxy Note 4. Haven't even felt the need to root it I know people hate touchwiz but it has come along way and actually now I don't mind it, with the features my phone brings with a large screen it hasn't made me want to move to the Nexus 6!
synaesthesia Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Would probably plump for the Nexus phones personally. Rocking an LG L90 currently although flashed to cyanogenmod; stock LG are ruddy awful, stay clear.
hardtailstar Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 I picked up the Nexus 6 Saturday just gone, Cant fault it at the moment. even got used to the size difference going from a Nexus 4! You will need big pockets for the expense (unless contract) and for size of the phone!
