SWGFL - "Remember password" breaking StaffProxy

Morning Guys,

 

Bit of a weird one today, one user is having issues with staffproxy sessions not working on IE11, it only works in the one tab you login, and it seems to be linked to them clicking "remember password" etc so it's not asking them for passwords anymore.

 

But no matter what auto complete you delete, or cookies drop etc it's still remembering the login for login.staffproxy.

 

Is there another place it's likely to be hiding this magic? :s Blame Xmas brain!

Have you set the login site to be in compatibility mode?

 

The fact that the login page was not happy with IE11 is mainly why we've stuck with IE10 on all bar our 2 Windows 8.1 admin stations

I have this issue too and cannot find out why. Have you rung swgfl?

Nope nothing changed/set, even on domain admin test account it does the exact same. As soon as you hit "remember" it seems stuck :s

 

And no Witch haven't rung them yet as assuming it's a local issue really, as works fine if you don't hit remember, tested this on a few accounts.

 

Will have a better dig about and see if I can find anything else

Well I found manual way to smite it But need to automate this now lol.

 

 

What a dumb place to store it

 

Edit - If anyones interested it's stored within - C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Credentials (or roaming profiles area etc) hidden encrypted system file with passwords in, delete and reboot and yay Until someone clicks remember again

Don't suppose anyone has a way of fixing this properly? Silly users keep clicking remember again and breaking it.

 

Can't see any way of getting this to stop, tried no GPOs, compat mode etc.
