AlfaTech Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 oh good smash brothers. tried a demo of that on my 3ds i dont get what the fuss is about played it once not wanted to load it up again Nope nor did I. Like you I gave the 3DS demo a shot and found it way too repetitive and too small even on an XL so thought I'd wait till it came out on the WiiU now I'm not the least big fussed tbh... I guess I will just stick with Pokemon Alpha Sapphire for now.
X-13 Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 I got a couple Amiibo for Christmas, now I have to collect them all! I want the spinner in Hyrule Warriors. But not enough to buy a £10 figure I don't care about. So, I guess what I'm saying is... Can I borrow your Link?
CAM Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I'm not even bothering to buy them. I don't know anyone else IRL with a Wii U.
stevenlong1985 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Hi @X-13 I would say yes but you would need your own. If you put Link on you get the Spinner Or Epona, with Zelda you get the Dominion Rod. You have to scan them in every day to get different variations. Sheik and Toon Link are coming soon but I'm not sure when extra weapons you get. Tesco have them slightly cheaper Search Results - Tesco.com

Tesco have them slightly cheaper Search Results - Tesco.com Hyrule Warriors doesn't save anything to it. It just sees which Amiibo it is and unlocks it permanently in-game. [and Epona/Dominion Rod are DLC... which I have. ] Link gives the spinner, then Link weapons after that. Same with Toon Link. Zelda/Shiek give decent Zelda/Shiek weapons. [3* or higher] But I can grind for those later on.
stevenlong1985 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 @X-13 I'll sort something out. I'm going to try and clone you a NFC tag if it works, I'll send it you!

I knew you could read the data, but I haven't heard of people being able to clone them yet. [Allegedly someone made an android amiibo emulator... but it's yet to materialise.] Also, you're a scholar and a gentleman. And an all-round good egg.
stevenlong1985 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 from what I can see, the amiibo use Ntag215, so in theory if I can scan a amiibo and clone it to a blank tag ntag215. it should work
