Lightspeed - Google searches return nothing

Hi there,

 

A number of students have now been in touch with the helpdesk to say that when they do a search on Google, it returns no results. I have witness one of them searching for 'lava flows' and it returned nothing. No links to sites or images.

 

This downs happen all the time. I got the student about to logout and then login again onto another PC and it then worked. But someone else logged into onto his original PC and Google searching was fine.

 

Anyone got any ideas?

Haven't seen this but will try it out next week.

Look at your network drivers. We had an issue with the lightspeed client forgetting who was logged on the computer after a while. If you did a reboot, it would then work. So we updated the Intel drivers and it worked.
