Hplaser Jet 5550 Error Illegaloperatorsequence

Morning All,

 

I have a bit of an issue, i am trying to get a member of staff to print from a hp laerjet 5550 printer however when i try to print it prints the following:

PCL XL error

 

Subsystem :KERNEL

 

Error: Illegaloperatorsequence

 

Operator: Endsession

 

Position: 428

 

But if i print it from my machine that added the printer it prints fine.

 

Any idea's?

We experienced that here before. It's due to the drivers so I try to install pcl5 drivers where possible.

Thanks for the response i installed the driver local on his machine and added the printer with that driver and still no joy unfortunately.

Is it a network machine? Has the Cached profile removed if so?

Yeah they have been deleted completely, and no joy and yes the machine is networked.
