For LDAPS need to install a certificate on the domain controller

In order to use LDAPS with our externally provided room booking system by

they have advised I need to, install a certificate...

 

Their exact instrucions being :

 

LDAP should work without further set up, though to use LDAPS you should install a certificate on the domain controller - check out guides from Microsoft on how to do this.

 

Does anyone have such a guide or has anyone done this and can advise?

I used this guide when setting up LDAP on our server, pretty straightforward as long as you're using server 2012
