ICTDirect_Dave Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Evening all. I wonder if any of you fine people can identify this array/caddy in the picture below?
ICTDirect_Dave Posted December 9, 2014 Author Posted December 9, 2014 Looks like a NAS storage bay system I've got that far, was looking for something a little more specific?
newpersn Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Dell power edge server? Likes like a rack version of one of ours
DMcCoy Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I think it's just 2 expansion boxes between sc 1420s (a guess). Dell never did anything with beige caddys!
ICTDirect_Dave Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 So the Caddy is a HP 373465-001 SCSI caddy. No idea about the array yet, but I'm now guessing something pretty old.
PotNoodleTech Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 The tray is a HP one. See: http://disctech.com/HP-373465-001-SCSI-Drive-Tray-Caddy-White Not sure about the chassis. It doesn't look like a HP chassis. Could be that some resourceful person in the past worked out that HP hot swap caddys fit whatever chassis it is? One thing is for sure - it's very old, the caddy's are 8+ years old. I am assuming it's actually SCSI? Best rid of it!

Don't worry though I'm not about to be pushing these out as a december special
john Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Given it is beige I'd be looking at pre merger Compaq stuff....
