Emails from Marks and Spencers

Heyo all.

 

Just a quick one.

 

Ive been getting about a zillion emails a day from 'Marks and Spencers' about 'vouchers'.

 

Is anyone else getting these? I havent opened any just in case.....

I've been getting several a day saying "You forgot to collect your $storeofchoice voucher" - it's all spam and, atm, being caught and trashed.

I've been getting these for ages too, not sure just how long as my email provider automatically puts them into the spam folder for me.

Does it have a ZIP or masked EXE file attached and is asking you to open it? Could be the new choice of bait for CryptoLocker, etc to snare new victims. Would make sense this time of year with store cards and vouchers getting cashed in. Edited December 10, 2014 by CAM

Good shout... but i clicked on the email and it had a hyperlink to something.

 

Not going to even attempt clicking on it... but as for the cryptolocker.... ill be sure to keep my eyes open for those kind of emails.
