I'm using group policy preferences to make some drive maps. Is it OK to use the same drive letter for multiple drive maps (the drive will mapped be to different user groups) so each user will only have 1 mapped drive but in GPP there will be multiple maps to say K:\ for example.

I believe you can, However I would say it would be better practice to not use the same drive letters for multiple maps. I use a different one for each because I map all sorts to my admin account and I think its easier to remember them.

 

If you have over 25 maps (including hard drive, cd drive etc) then you would have to map multiples to the same letter.
