Displaying previous term's data in marksheet

We are a special school, in the process of setting up a tracking system, mainly based on APP. Very new to AM, so sorry if this is an obvious question. Teachers will enter data termly, using integer gradeset. Briefly, a pupil will have up to 10 points in a 'phase', with Phase 4 to 23 each shown in a column. Is there a way for, say, the Spring Term marksheet to show the Autumn Term results so that the teachers can just update the relevant phases? I realise that this could done with Data review columns, but I want avoid having to re-enter all the data for columns where 10s have already been entered.

A data review column is the way to go really. It's easy enough to set up the template and then it will be re-usable.

Assuming you tie each column to a resultset, and the resultset is e.g. Y7-Autumn, Y7-Winter,Y7-Spring etc. You can clone a template and bulk update the resultsets, so you only need to build it once. With a set of data review columns and then with some for data entry.

 

Or are you saying you want the spring term columns to actually show the autumn term result before hand, then be updated? You can set up formulae, but it's probably easier just to display old data for review and show staff how to copy the column contents and paste them: right click the column header, copy and paste options are available for relevant column types.
