robjd Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 As the title says, can you somehow have reports created and maybe emailed to you? Thanks.
kmount Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Been a long time since I looked after SIMS system but there's the command line reporting tool. Have a look at - http://www.edugeek.net/forums/mis-systems/45448-sims-command-reporter.html Hope it helps give you a pointer at least.
Ecalpemos2000 Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 You can set up a scheduled event that can export the report data to say an excel or .txt file. If you use excel you can include a macro that has an auto date and time or on creation send itself attached as an email by using vb mail script. Quite a complicated process though.
chilbs Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I have recently setup Command Reporter to run a report every day and place it in a share on the fileserver. Let me know if you need any help. But most stuff is in the help files and found by searching these forums.
vikpaw Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 There is also a way to schedule reports in SIMS which runs as a service overnight. Anything you configure to be scheduled, then runs and appears on a panel on the users homepage for opening. Which keeps it neat and tidy, it's not email, but it depends really what you want to achieve.

Im back to work tomorrow after a few days off so will give this ago as well as the other suggestions but like this idea of them showing up on the homepage. Thank you all.
robjduk Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Got the scheduled reports box up but any ideas how to add a report to it?
