[sims] Schedule Percentage Attendance Report

Hi all,

 

Is there a way to schedule the Percentage Attendance Report that can be in Reports - Lesson Monitor - Selected Student Reports - Percentage Attendance Reports?

 

Basically we want BTEC staff to get a daily/weekly report of their classes percentage attendance to early identify students who may fall behind. If i can't schedule the pre-made report can I make a report for this information have it exported using command reporter and then have it sent to staff?

You can schedule it in scheduled tasks to run the report and save to a specific place.

That one's a built in report, way I had to do it (back in the day), was create a SIMS report with the raw attendance marks then generate the percentage from the raw data - ie a faff.

But u can schedule the export of the raw data in same way.

Then create a spreadsheet that is linled to the raw data export so after export excel will auto update.

Yup, my point was that particular report you can't just schedule, so you have to create one, then process the raw data. You can't just go tell the command reporter to run that report. ie its a faff

I am with you. Yes it is a faff on. But that's SIMS for you. So glad I dont haven that headache anymore.
