[sims] Solus 3 Browsing for organisational units failed

Any clues as to what causes browsing for organisational units to fail ? Everything looks okay and I can add machines manually.

Possibly your credentials entered into the console to query the domain are wrong. Our SOLUS 3 runs across two domains - if I fudge up the authentications (usually by forgetting domain.name\) it won't let me browse properly.

Credentials seem to be fine (same as the ones I use to install the client manually), are there any logs anywhere ?

I don't get an error, however on our system before browsing AD I need to click on the Domain in the top right corner of solus 3 and pick our domain, enter domain admin credentials and then I can go and browse and search AD without issue.

 

If I close Solus3, I need to carry out the same process of choosing the domain before browing again.

 

The consequence of not doing this for me is 1. Solus 3 won't find any computers in any OUs. 2. I end up with duplicate targets of every device already configured in Solus3.
