dominicbastone Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Hi, We have got a small issue with our symantec endpoint protection manager it seems that we are running out of space, i have narrowed it down Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\outbox\ImportPackage this is where it seems that all the space is being taken up on the server currently it is 67.4gb of space it is taking up. We run a RM CC4 network and have been told we can remove the old packages?? I am assuming the old packages are the ones with an older modified date is this correct? If so how many packages need to be in the importpackage folder?? If someone could help that would be great Cheers Dom

Bob_the_Goon Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I have setup a script that moves the DB backup to a NAS box every week. This frees up about 9GB on my server. Not sure if this is one of the options in the Symantec doc.
Meldrew Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 What version of SEPM are you using? The latest version makes changes to the amount of disc space that is used. It tries to reduce the space considerably apparently. It did I think reduce the space used, but we've loads of space anyway so I didn't particularly take notice! Meldrew.
