Steam keys - can they be given away?

Catalogued all my games over the weekend and found that I have a load of keys for games that I'll never play, plus a few doubles (only a few of which were due to forgetting what I had and repurchasing!). Most of them are from Humble Bundle or IndieRoyale and as far as I can tell you can gift the Humble stuff, but it often looks like you need to gift the whole bundle. Does anyone know of a way to legitimately give keys away?

Yep, i have done it before.

 

As long as they are keys, some of the newer bundles link directly with your steam account and not sure about those ones, although steam lets you "gift" games to people too.
