Hyper V Virtual server issue

Hi all,

We are having an issue with one of our virtual servers and it keeps crashing,

We have SCCM installed on it, is there a way to just copy SCCM off and create a new Virtual server and copy it to that?

I know it may need a bit more work then just copying but in its simplest form that is what I want to know if it can be done.

SCCM is based around SQL? if it is you could lift the DB and import it into another instance of SQL and install the other requirements for it

I haven't actually done it but I suspect a backup, install new server and recover old sccm database/settings into it would accomplish what you want.

You haven't mentioned which version you use but these are the instructions for 2012

It is probably easier to figure out why it is crashing. Have you tried exporting the virtual server to a different physical server?
