Elite: Dangerous

Jumped back on this today, and started having a lot of fun with bounty hunting and trading.

 

Running 2 ships, lakon 6 and viper.

 

Changing between the two. I'm not looking for huge credits or anything like that, as i'm not a 'omg look i have a huge ship' junkie. Getting back into it

Is anyone having the "Could not connect to the Transaction Server" problem on Elite Dangerous. I've had this since Horizons and its driving me mad. The only way I've found to make the game work is using a proxy like Tunnel Bear, however, my demo with Tunnel bear has run out.

 

Does anyone have any other solutions?

I'm using the 64 bit Horizons. Whether its in solo or open play it usually gives this message soon after take off.

 

I've looked on the elite forum and found others having the issue, one guy gave a work round, but I've tried this and it still fails:
