New IIS Website in DMZ

We have a new website in our DMZ. This works fine however internally it can take up to 2 mins to resolve/display the page using a shortcut on Staff Desktops.

 

I have checked DNS and NSLookup and all resolves fine. Sometimes the page will display instantly, but more often than not, the pages takes a good while especially if it is the first time used that day.

 

Can anyone think of any steps I have missed. We have a Cisco ASA Firewall, maybe I need something added in there?

 

Any advice appreciated. The site is the school MIS 3Sys system.

 

Externally the site works fine and it works fine if I specify IP address rather than domain name.
