free780 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Trying to narrow down slow logins. Been using Procmon. NotifyChangeDirectory operations seem to take a long time which is slowing things down. Anybody know how to reduce these?

psydii Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Where in the file system is affected? Do you have roaming profiles? Does it happen with a clean profile? How about a clean profile and no GPP's or Folder redirection?

free780 Posted October 15, 2014 Author Posted October 15, 2014 First login to a PC takes 4 mins. 1st login for a user about 2 mins. Then about 1 min about which. It shorter if the PC gets logged off. This is probably due the prefetch.
