Web-based Student password reset for staff

I am looking for some web-based software that links to AD that I can direct staff to so that they can reset students passwords rather than keep sending them up to us?

 

We get about 5 or 6 a day.

 

Any ideas?

Thanks I have used Password Control before and do use it for bulk resets, but I would prefer to have something web-based if possible as I am putting together a staff toolbox via the intranet including a phone directory etc.

I believe @themightymrp uses a MMC snapin on the staff desktop that links into ad for them to reset pupil passwords?

Not web based, but if you use HAP+ install the user card on the desktops, it allows password reset, controlled user enabling/disabling

Also if customers have YouID self service reset is built into that.

I have a custom MMC console on staff desktops set to be in User Mode (so they can't change anything). It has the AD Users and computer snap-in added but with delegated permissions for the staff user group on the student OU so that all they can do is reset passwords.

 

The only downside is you need to install the RSAT stuff on your machine image, otherwise they don't get the snap-ins :-/

I don't use it but doesn't Spiceworks have this capability through the web browser? Could that bit be stripped out in some way?

Not free, but password resets are only a small part of what this tool can do.
