My Files - Staff not able to write

Hi,

 

Just setting up HAP and im nearly there.. just 1 point

 

In my files when I log in as a member of staff they get 2 drives mapped (Home and Shared)

Home works fine, shared however displays the correct files but they cannot write to files that they can normally using windows explorer.

 

I have the following set in my hapconfig file

 

\\server\shared

 

Ive tried the usage mode set to Quota and Drive space and get the same results. They can see the fodders but not write to them

 

Any ideas?

Ok, that'll be done to NTFS permission checks, which can sometimes be a bit odd

Unfortunately not, if you try doing some http://www.edugeek.net/forums/home-access-plus/86059-hap-json-debugging.html. In the JSON response will be the permissions it's coming back with

ok, looking at he JSON file its pulled back for a member of staff (who definatly is in the staff group) it returns

 

["Authenticated Users","Domain Users","Users","CERTSVC_DCOM_ACCESS","App-V Users","MySchool R\/W for attendance (Myschool Only)"]

Sorted it, it was the MySchool R\/W for attendance group that it didn't like. Removing the staff member from that group solved it.

Hi

 

I am having a similar issue, but for all staff not being able to write back to staff or student shared areas.

 

When looking at one particular user (who can write to the folder via windows), their permissions are ALL coming back as false, even read - however I can directedit and open/download files.

 

The JSON debugging comes back with
