unixman_again Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 One of my favourite poems is Upon Julia's Clothes By Robert Herrick Whenas in silks my Julia goes, Then, then (methinks) how sweetly flows That liquefaction of her clothes. Next, when I cast mine eyes, and see That brave vibration each way free, O how that glittering taketh me! When I first read it, I thought here was a man who deeply loved his wife, but I later found that he was never married and a vicar too boot!
