Cricut Proxy

Anyone using a cricut ? Just installed one and its stuck on accessing your account (I REALLY HATE SOFTWARE LIKE THIS)

I think this is to do with proxy settings, anyone know how to get round this ?

Fixed it, had to add a few authentication exceptions

We use Smoothwall, I had to add cricut.com to an authentication exceptions category

I've been trying to get this to work

 

Seems to install to APPDATA so when I install it it's no good for the teacher.

 

Tried copying the installed folder to a network location but that seems to have limited success, sometimes the program opens sometimes it does n't.

 

It's now saying there is an upgrade

 

Installed again on my PC, created a new network shared folder.

 

Teacher runs that EXE and it's still saying she needs an upgrade - sigh.

One of my sites had this problem. It was trying to check an AWS S3 bucket for an upgrade (even if it doesn't need one, it tries to check anyway) and it wasn't liking the MITM interception. But I refused to whitelist the whole bucket so they couldn't use it. (Someone bought it without checking with IT first)
