Over the summer we have upgraded our school from XP to Windows 7. Our DT department use Pro Desktop 8 for a lot of work, but we have just discovered that on some machines when drawing something, you are not able to see the shape being drawn with its measurement. All you get is the finished shape when you release the mouse. But yet some computers are fine, others are not.

Has anyone had this problem and cured it, or able to shed any light on the matter?

Thanks in advance.

This is probably due to the graphics hardware acceleration setting in PD8, which causes a few issues in Windows 7. You can turn this off in the program itself (don't have a copy running in front of me, but it's in the menus). Should still run fine unless you're making mega complex models.
