Laptops

Any recommendations on a decent class set of laptops. I'm thinking no less than i5 with 4 go ram and ssd. I don't want to pay anymore than 450 each. The last lot I bought were shocking.

Lenovo! Can't rate them enough! Mine is amazing.... although it was nearly 4 times that price!

 

I have used devices all the way up the spectrum and they are very good devices. The ex IBM range of laptops.

I use Lenovo pretty much throughout. Bullet proof. As you say you pay for it though.

Refurb Lenovo's - T410 or T420 are very good value and robust. Can be had from @ICTDirect_Dave, Misco, AMC or ISTR @Millgate.

VeryPC FTW. We brought 210 this year of their thinbook range (we did go very high spec compared to you) but the price was very competitive, service was awesome. Did have a single DOA and they are all fairly robust (they are with teachers and year 09 boys) and everyone seems to be be super happy with them.

HP 250G's are very well built have a matt finished screen and chassis.

recommended a them to a couple of friends and they have been very pleased as they feel solid and look sensible
