Hi

We have some life books a544 laptops with wireless button problem.

Every time you turn the laptop off you have to use the hotkeys on the keyboard to reenable the wireless.

When it connects the wireless is fine but it's disabled everytime you boot the laptop up. Can't find anything I the bios or driver settings. Any ideas?

I've seen this too, not sure if it was the exact same model. but Fujitsu's response was this is something they are not going to fix and we had to live with.

Hey @ful56_uk, can you tell me which model A544 you have and is an issue across all of them? I have been considering getting some of these for staff and might not want to if this is an issue.

Just been told by one of my techs. Flashing the bios fixes this with the newest version. You don't get any extra bios options though so guessing a bug

I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!!

I say mine are fine and later in the day I happen to be sorting out SIMS access on one of them and the teacher said casually "oh, the wireless doesn't work"

Argggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does the fix work????
