Not sure if this is the correct place , but we have been using Vivo rewards with a SSO widget in Frog for over two years. Suddenly today it appears to be broke.

In IE10/11 the Frog page with the widget in has a "error communicating with vivo server" and the widget says loading...

In Chrome the widget appears to work but the Log into Vivo link foes not work.. it appears the url it directs to is missing a / between the.com and user parts of it.

Anyone else had this problem, we haven't made any network changes so can't understand it? Link2ict perhaps?

ViVo had some major issues at the start of term and have been as we are told under some major upgrade works, upgrading servers etc etc, so maybe your widget needs updating with any new settings?

I recently had this from Vivo;

We've recently changed the way in which Vivo works by updating our authentication method by which users can log in. This may have had an impact on your ability to login via Single Sign On (SSO) through Frog, Moodle and ePortal.

We've found that a configuration option in Internet Explorer can cause this problem.

In order to help resolve this please can you please apply the following change in Internet Explorer:

Internet Options>Security>Internet>Custom level>Miscellaneous>Access data source across domains>Enable

This can also be pushed out at a Group Policy level.

Did you get this working?

We've had it working with compatibility mode off, but that breaks other things in Frog.

With compatibility mode on, Frog works properly, but the Vivo widget does not.

We don't currently have Vivo enable on our Frog...! but I got this message yesterday....

Following our email of 23rd September, we have an update for customers who were experiencing problems with single sign-on (SSO) from Frog.

Frog have now upgraded their Vivo widget, and this seems to have resolved the underlying problem. Affected Vivo customers can now upgrade to the latest version of Frog's Vivo widget (v1.2) and this should fix the SSO issue without requiring any changes to the security settings of Internet Explorer.

If you changed your security settings in IE as a result of our previous email, we suggest that you revert the workaround by changing the IE setting

Internet Options>Security>Internet>

Custom level>Miscellaneous>Access data source across domains to Disabled
