Weve just set up Google apps for Edu and im Looking for some advice. We have Frog vle and want users to be able to log in to Gapps using SSO via frog. Initially we only want one year group to trial using Gmail and drive with about 5 staff. We want to keep our existing Exchange email for staff and eventaully use gmail fir pupil/staff communication. What is the best way to achieve this? I know we can set up SSO in Frog but I've also read about Gapps syncing with AD using GAD. Can we set up both Frog sso and AD sync systems together or do we only need one. Any help greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the info. I've contacted Link2ict who have asked for the details. Change request submitted now, to add record to the CName record.' Regarding the long username we're going to implement SSO through Frog as it looks quite straightforward .

We are trying to set up Google Apps for Edu but cannot get past the domain verification step. We registered ourdomain.bham.sch.uk with google, however the DNS records point to http://www.ourdomain.bham.sch.uk so the Meta tag verification does not work. We have a Wordpress site hosted externally, however Google say we could not upload a HTML file to here either as it is not the naked domain. The only other option is to change the CNAME records but these are owned/hosted by BGFL and managed by Link2ICT. Anyone using Link2ICT managed to get this sorted, as we don't want to have to purchase another domain.

Vivo widget not working in Frog
TheBinMan replied to TheBinMan's topic in Virtual Learning Platforms
The upgraded Vivo widget works fine now. We don't use compatibility mode at all as we have Froglearn with a few Frog3 pages embedded in it. -
We are planning to start using TouchDevelop in Computer Science lessons after half term. DOes anyone know of any issues with pupils having to create a Google or Microsoft account to register with the site? I know some pupils in Y7 and Y8 have accounts already so can use them, but all pupils will need an account to save their work. Has anyone any experience of this? Thanks

Not sure if this is the correct place , but we have been using Vivo rewards with a SSO widget in Frog for over two years. Suddenly today it appears to be broke. In IE10/11 the Frog page with the widget in has a "error communicating with vivo server" and the widget says loading... In Chrome the widget appears to work but the Log into Vivo link foes not work.. it appears the url it directs to is missing a / between the.com and user parts of it. Anyone else had this problem, we haven't made any network changes so can't understand it? Link2ict perhaps?

Not to be confused with Kodu from Microsoft either!

If its 15mm copper is suspect its a Central heating boiler overflow or blow out. If the boiler overheats or becomes too pressurised it can release hot water/ steam through it.they usually point down to stop them spraying everywhere.

There's some great basslines in there. But missing any by The Ox, so here's one http://youtu.be/lRflGVcRxCI

All three of the brilliant original series with Ian Richardson as FU are on Netflix, though I couldn't possibly comment. ....

Thanks. I had this working a while ago, using the registry settings mentioned. But as we have now upgraded one of our DC's to 2012 r2, I thought it would be easier to apply the proxy settings via the GPP . Obviously, theres something wrong somewhere so I've reverted to the registry setting method as it works! - - - Updated - - - Thanks. This is getting annoying now! We are using Server 2012 and trying to set the proxy settings using a GPP - using a new IE10 Internet Settings tab. I can set the Homepage and any other option except the Proxy settings. Ive tried all the F6 to make the underlines go green and spent the last 2 days trawling the 'net for answers. I have come up with nothing so far that actually works. - - - Updated - - - This is getting annoying now! We created an msi and pushed it out via GPO the first time. Un-installed it manually as it wouldn't remove when set to from the GPO..now it won't re install.

Tracked it down now, but came across another problem! In the GPP that we used to deploy IE10, there was a manage add-ons setting that had disabled all add-ons! No idea how it got there, but it works fine now. The problem we now have is re-installing IE10. Last week we had to get the IT suite functioning so we uninstalled IE10, which rolled it back to IE9. Now we've solved the problem and want to deploy IE10 it wont install. RSOP is saying the policy has been applied but IE10 still does not actually install.

We've already got 10.* added to the proxy bypass, so I don't think that's the problem. Going to have another look today but I have a feeling there are old GPO settings that are applying globally to all our machines that are conflicting with the settings being applied to the one IT suite with IE10 installed.
