Harry1980 Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Hi, I have a Promethean Projector Model No PRM-20AV1(S). This projector stops projecting after a few minutes. There are no warning light and lamb replace light on. I have cleaned the filters. When I switch the mains power supply off the projector then power it on, it projects on to the IWB for a few minutes then stops projecting. The power light is green on the projector, when I look into the bulb there is nothing happening. Usually there should be some sort of light coming out. Any help will be welcome. Many thanks Harry
phillyrovers Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Hi Harry1980, That sounds like the perfect example of a lamp starting to come to the end of its life. The lamp replace warning light is simply based on a timer and not the physical condition of the lamp. I would recommend contacting Promethean Support with the serial number of the projector, they will be able to verify warranty. Before doing this however it would be good if you could borrow a known working lamp from another projector of the same model, as support will ask this question first. Thank you
