SmartBoard Unifi 45 Shutting Down after a few minutes Please Help

I have a Unifi 45 shutting down after 15 mins. I've looked at the ovious. blew out the dust. made sure bulb was properly seated in its socket.

Any other suggestions other than taking it completely apart and looking for dust and dirt blockages...?

 

BTW- This seems to be a common problem with these projectors. I have 15 of them.

Have you reset the lamp hours on them?

What is the error message they are giving in light terms after they shut down? Amber or Red?

 

I did take one apart as the temp light kept coming on, blew it with air and it worked again. A year later it is still working.

After it shuts down the three lights by the service reset buttons are green and all three flash about every 10 seconds.

I would suggest you contact Steljes Technical Support team as they may be able to advise you on an easy fix or at least suggest a route cause. It is possible it is shutting down as it is overheating so trying to protect itself, but it is possible that a repair would require it to be sent off.
