We use this great bit of software and I would recommend it to anyone.

 

Have been very pleased with the support and system over the last few years.

 

Now about that feature request to set a default room.....

We use RBS here and it's definitely the easiest platform I've used for it's purpose.

 

The 3 features I still would love to see added are:

 

- Ability to resend (and regenerate) a user password.

- Ability to use the hidden "Unassigned" category at will or an option to hide categories.

- A time system that we can match to periods so that people can't book time slots that have already passed in the day!

We've been using the RBS since September and can 100% recommend it. Works well with AD integration for us so the staff don't have to remember another login.

- Assuming you're not already using Single Sign-On and/or LDAP Authentication, you can reset a password by editing the account and selecting a new password (or just enter random characters). It'll automatically email the new password to the user upon submitting.

- Normally all bookable rooms will be assigned to categories already. You can always rename the Unassigned category to something else which will make it visible. However any resources in anything other than the Unassigned category count towards the number of resources allowed on the licence.

- Good point about matching periods to times. We're just about to release extended support for multiple timetables - e.g. a Junior or Senior tier.
