Oh, that's a laptop keyboard? These were non-fixed keyboards, but had the same style of lighting.

 

I do enjoy backlit keyboards. They're useful. There's nothing even wrong with my G15.. I'm just bored of it after having it for a good few years..

 

I may be willing to take it off your hands for a price....

I bought it mostly for the macro capability, but then just never ended up using it. Ever. I tried using Macro1-through-6 as my DOTA Inventory keys for a while but they're just awkward to get your hands to in the heat-of-the-moment. The 'Gaming mode' that doesn't allow you to CTRL-ALT-DEL/etc is nice, though, but again I never use it because I only ALT+TAB when I want to lol.

Still need to pick this up, had it on Xbox but got rid of it before I got around to it.

 

I fear for the health of my peripherals though, got a brand new Black Widow Ultimate and 2014 Naga. Looks like I'll be using this instead:

There's a really easy way to kill him if you don't mind potentially missing out on an early item.

 

Trigger him.

Go up the tower stairs.

Drop off the side, where it's broken.

Run and jump back over to where he was. [There's a doorway leading to a drop there.]

 

It looks impossible, but it's easy.

 

NPCs can't jump, so he walks off the edge.

 

 

The other way is to kite him round to the courtyard area and go through the house [you need the key, it's 1000 souls IIRC]. You get Gold Pine Resin [+lightning damage] from a chest there and the ring he was guarding [+defence at low health].

 

The resin is useful for some of the bosses and it's pretty rare.

I bought teh key from the merchant, but i spent most of the time playing just killing the enemies in that area and getting souls, my mind still won't comprehend doing something that's likely to get you killed (like the knight), even though it helps you in the long run.

You could always just fight him... but those guys are hard.

 

Lore wise, they're literally the endboss's elite guards.

Black Knight Sword - Dark Souls Wiki

 

It's a pretty good sword that does extra damage to demon enemies. [so Taurus and Capra, et al.]

 

It's a rare drop, so there's only a CHANCE you can get it, but if they drop off the ledge you can't get it at all.

 

 

You can still get it later on though.

Black knights will destroy you. Unless you circle strafe right [i think it's right] and know your i-frames...

 

Taurus... Remember the Asylum demon. It can be done in about 3-4 hits. [Hint: That's a hint.]

lul, taurus, that was going to be my plan but after i jumped down the first time i got stuck between him and the stairs and couldn't escape, i managed to roll past him but then i was at the wrong side and he swiped me. Only tried it the once to see what i was getting myself into.

You need to run about halfway down the bridge, then run back to the ladder each time.

 

It keeps it far enough away that you can climb back up.

Son. I am disappoint.

 

 

Nothing beats the feeling of taking down a boss that has been curbstomping you for 2 hours all by yourself.

tbf i still had to do three climbs up the ladder and attack it's head, got fubared by the dragon on teh bridge though after
