Novalee Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I know this has been asked before, even by myself. But all the toner recycling companies want things sorting etc. I just want to bung all our empties in a box and wave them off. Too many and I really don't want to faff about. Anyone know of a company like that?
Mark182 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 We use :- these If you want I can PM you the person I deal with, he's really good.
adhutton Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 We give all of our empties to The Great North Air Ambulance - Home | Great North Air Ambulance Service They provide boxes and collect for free, no sorting required. Not sure if they cover your area, but might be worth asking. A very worthy cause, in my opinion. Andrew
Novalee Posted July 16, 2014 Author Posted July 16, 2014 That's a good idea Andrew - do they give a 'certificate' or something as well? (Would be nice for the charity wall). Mark, just had a look at their website and looks like they won't even collect toners they don't recycle though?

adhutton Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 (edited) I don't think the toner collection service is mentioned on their web site (I certainly couldn't find it, but correct me if I am wrong). We just call them when the collection boxes are full and they send a man with a van. They collect far and wide as far as I understand. Lots of schools around here use them. Not sure about a certificate, but you could ask them. They provide GNAA collection boxes for free (see photo). We just chuck the empty carts in the box and call them when its full! SiliconAlley_Sam Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 @SiliconAlley_Sam offers this service! Yes I do! We can help you out with this. We take everything, we just need a vague idea of how many you need collecting, we'll send you the boxes and you give me a call/email when they're ready to be collected. Even easier (but perhaps less delicious) than pie. 1
