Office 2010 ADM's

I am just importing the Office 2010 ADM's into GP and a question has come up.

 

Will the INF folder where you put the ADM's replicate to my other two DC's? Or do I need to copy them there too?

I believe it doesn't copy over. If you wished to be able to edit the settings of the GPO elsewhere, you will need to copy the adm templates. We have moved away from this method of working and have a central store for PolicyDefintions. This lives in the sysvol and is therefore replicated across the DCs and hence when editing GPO settings, all servers are using the same files.

 

I think this only works on Server 2008+. Do a web search for it if you're interested - it didn't take us long to implement.
