We've been upgrading some of our older and starting to fail Hitachi Cambridge boards with their newer Starboard FX-79e1 models.

The Maths teachers are NOT happy....

Their gripe is that the literature claims you can write on them with pen or finger - but the bundled "stylus" that you are meant to use to write with has a massive 7mm dia. end which you have to keep perpendicular to the board. The literature also claims you have to "face the board" to write, which they say goes against all good teaching practice. The accuracy of the writing seems also be be no where near as good as the older Cambridge boards.

Questions:

Has anyone else replaced the superb older Cambridge boards with the newer models to get disgruntled staff?

Has anyone found a suitable replacement IWB that still uses true "pen" technology.....
