Anyone else having this issue? appinventor.mit.edu

When I go to the app inventor to download and install the software (Setting Up App Inventor 2 | Explore MIT App Inventor), I get a red warning bar at the bottom saying IE is not supported and to use Chrome or Firefox... I'm not sure if this is supposed to display all the time or just if you're on the wrong browser.

 

When I do install the software however, it still behaves like I'm using IE... User Agent settings in Chrome don't appear to have any config so I'm not sure if it's just me or there's something wrong with the compatibility of AppInventor and the latest version of chrome.

OK, I think this is me being an idiot... Did AppInventor used to be a local install, as appose to a "cloud" based app?

 

Is an offline version available? I've come across AiLiveComplete! | Free software downloads at SourceForge.net - has anyone used it?

Our ICT teacher has had this issue and also mentioned some other teachers she knows also have had issues.
