Profile Manager and iPads

I must have missed a step somewhere but I have downloaded the trust certificate and the enrolment profile from the profile manager. I then pushed them to the iPad using apple configurator but the device appears in profile manager but as a New Device but with not the name i called it in apple configurator. Also when i try and change settings on the iPad from the profile manager it doesn't do anything.

Think i tried that about a million times already. Spoke to Apple and they are looking into the problem for me.
